Sixteen teams, five rounds, three wins through and three losses out. Every legal draw and every result makes 17.3 sextillion possible Swiss stages.
Each 3–0 team draws a 3–2, on opposite sides of the bracket, so they can only meet in the final. The other four are drawn against each other.
Round 1 pairs tier 1 with tier 4 and tier 2 with tier 3, same region apart; later rounds pair equal records with no rematches. The two 3–0 teams start on opposite sides of the knockout bracket, as at Worlds 2025. Results come from the lolesports schedule, refreshed every two minutes; counts are exact, from Riot’s Worlds 2026 rules. Win chances use Riot’s Global Power Rankings (Oct 30) and GPR’s own formula, 1 ÷ (10−gap/600 + 1) — the chance of winning one game, compounded over a series, so a 60% favorite takes a Bo3 65% of the time and a Bo5 68%. Draws stay random.
